If you are already in a relationship with the guy, then the answer is yes, they love it when the female makes the first move. It's exciting for them, makes the man feel desired and more confident about himself.
If you are at the beginning of a relationship that hasn't gotten physical yet, whoa, the answer is no -- for example if you put your arm around him and then lean in for the kiss, it will more than like space him out.
